It's that time again to start one of my FAVORITE things...senior sessions!!! Last year I was blessed with an amazing group of young men and women to photograph!! They were all unique individuals but all possessed that excitement and enthusiasm for the next step in their young lives. I love to be a part of this!! Below I'm going to share some of my favorites from the seniors that have just graduated in 2011!!! It's going to be a big one...but it could have been bigger...I love SO many shots that I had to force myself to narrow them down!!

This client contacted me about a session and I was thrilled when she suggested shooting at the zoo!! This family LOVES the zoo and animals and wanted to capture a little piece of their family doing what they love best! We had a great time and got to see a bunch of their favorite animals!
Thanks so much for suggesting such a cool interesting place to have a session!! I had a GREAT time with you all!!

This young man was totally cool to be around. He was a great combination of athlete and scholar and wanted to represent both of those sides in his senior session. Bring in the soccer ball and I'm all over it! I'm thinking he could add "model" to his repertoir too. :-)
I had a great time in our session! You are amazing with the soccer ball!!

Well she didn't actually play for me ;-) but from what I hear, this senior is an amazing violinist! It's a huge part of her life so it was a must to be a part of her senior session! I had a great time with this young lady and have no doubt she will go far in life! She has such a great attitude and has her head on straight!
with no further ado:
Thanks guys, I had a ball!

Now it's time for pay backs! I was SO excited to get the chance to photograph my good friend Anginet's family www.anginet.com again! These little girlies are so adorable and have gotten used to me and my camera over the years! I think we all look at it as a great reunion every year!
We decided that Boulder Reservoir worked well for my session so we decided to try it again for theirs. I'm so glad we did because we ended up wtih a gorgeous day, beautiful skies and 2 girls who loved the water and the sand!
It was HARD to narrow down what I wanted to post!
THanks SO much Anginet and family!!! As always, it was a BLAST!!

I have photographed my good friend Anginet's (www.anginet.com) family many times. This time when she wanted a family session, I suggested a swap because *I* was looking for a "girls" (ie, me and my girls) session and a specialty session. Anginet is the most AMAZING wedding and event photographer but she agreed to photograph my family and do a session of me doing one of my favorite things, running. I am SO thankful to her for taking on the challenge and the results were so incredible!
A huge storm, we are talking hail, lightning and a downpour, rolled in right at the time we were supposed to meet. We adjusted the schedule a bit, and then adjusted the location a bit and ended up with the most beautiful light!
I am SOOOOO not used to being in front of the camera but Anginet made me really comfortable and relaxed and we had so much fun doing this!
With no further ado:
Thank you SO much Anginet!! I appreciate all you endured for this session!!! haahaa
